Our dedicated staff is committed to a schoolwide mission centered on literacy, inspired by Arroyo West’s vision of “growing active thinkers and lifelong readers and writers.” Literacy is not just taught as a subject but woven into every area of learning, encouraging students to approach science, math, and social studies with curiosity and confidence. Our goal is to nurture students who think critically and take pride in their learning as they explore every subject.
I am honored to be part of this tradition at a school that not only values academic growth but also strives to help every child feel seen, heard, and inspired. I am a father myself and recognize both the honor and the responsibility that comes with leading a school and educating children. We want our students to develop self-confidence and a belief in their own abilities as learners and as individuals.
I bring nearly a decade of school leadership experience, including two years as assistant principal at Moorpark High School. These years have strengthened my belief in creating safe, student-centered environments where every learner can thrive.
As Arroyo West's principal, I have the privilege of working with a talented and passionate team of educators who bring creativity and care to everything they do. Together, we are building a welcoming and challenging learning environment where students are encouraged to take risks, think deeply, and discover the joy of learning.
I believe education is most meaningful when families and schools work in partnership. We value your input and involvement, and we invite you to share your voice as we continue to shape the learning experience for all students. I welcome conversations and encourage you to reach out whenever you have questions, ideas, or feedback.
Thank you for being part of the Wrangler family. I encourage you to explore our website, connect with us, and celebrate the many things that make our school a special place to learn and grow.
